According to I Love Qatar, Doha News and Zawya, Dandy Ltd (Q.P.S.C. under conversion), the Qatari company specialising in the manufacture and distribution of dairy, beverage and ice cream products for more than 45 years, has announced that it has obtained the approval of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority to proceed with offering 40% of its share capital to institutional and individual investors, with the offer price to be determined through the book-building mechanism.
The offering comprises 41.2 million shares, equivalent to 40% of the company’s issued capital. Of these, 30% will be allocated to institutional investors through the book-building process, while the remaining 70% will be offered to retail investors in a subsequent public subscription.
The indicative price range has been set at QAR 5.00 to QAR 5.20 per share ($1.37–$1.42), with investors paying an additional QAR 0.01 per share in offering and listing fees on top of the clearing price. Maroon Capital Advisory is acting as the offering and listing advisor.
Dandy could raise approximately QAR 214 million ($58.6 million) before fees, positioning it as a mid-sized transaction on the Qatar Stock Exchange’s main market. The offering’s price range implies a prospective market capitalisation of approximately QAR 515 million to QAR 536 million.
The book-building process is being conducted under the Offering, Listing, Mergers and Acquisitions Rules issued by the QFMA pursuant to Decision No. (8) of 2025; a framework designed to attract more companies and provide diverse options for those seeking to offer and list on the capital market. The offering reflects the continued collaboration between the QFMA and the Qatar Stock Exchange to develop the market’s regulatory framework.
