Beyond Apple Integration, The Sense Pro Is Aliro Compatible And Expected To Support Digital Keys In Samsung Wallet And Google Wallet Later This Year Once Certification Completes, Giving UWB-Equipped Android Devices Hands-Free Entry And NFC Devices Tap-To-Unlock, Alongside Up To Six Months Of Battery Life And A USB-C Jump-Start Backup Port
According to Schlage’s official announcement via PRNewswire and HomeKit News, the Schlage Sense Pro Smart Deadbolt will be available for purchase beginning June 29, 2026, for $399 through Schlage.com, Amazon, Lowe’s and The Home Depot in the US, and for CAD$549 through The Home Depot and other participating retailers in Canada.
The Sense Pro is the brand’s first smart lock to feature Schlage Converge, technology that combines Ultra Wideband with a user’s Apple HomeKey on a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch to deliver hands-free unlocking.
Schlage says Converge is more precise than geofencing or simple proximity detection, calculating a user’s speed, trajectory, and motion to determine intent to enter before unlocking precisely as they reach the door.
The lock is also Aliro compatible and is expected to support Aliro digital keys in Samsung Wallet and Google Wallet later this year once certification completes, enabling UWB-equipped Android devices to unlock hands-free and NFC-enabled devices to tap-to-unlock.
The Sense Pro offers up to six months of battery life under normal usage, with low-battery alerts on its touchscreen keypad and within the Schlage Home app, plus a USB-C jump-start port for emergency power if batteries deplete.
