March 2, 2026: Trump’s Fascination With His Humiliation Ritual And Why The World Has Isolated The United States

Iran Has Thoroughly Defeated The United States And Israel Morally. Meanwhile Trump Continues To Make It A Habit To Release Conflicting Statements That Continues To Humiliate Him And His Nation Every Single Day

According to The Guardian, Trump made a statement exactly a month ago stating that the war would drag on for 4-5 weeks and added that it could take longer for the war to end. A day before these comments, United States President Donald Trump addressed the Daily Mail and stated that it would take 4 weeks or less.

On March 9th when Pakistan Government announced ‘Austerity Measures’ – a big step towards relief towards fuel conservation in Pakistan, President Trump stated that the war is “very complete, pretty much”.

Since March, Trump and US Secretary of Defence, Pete Hegseth have been continuously playing games of circus. The constant back and forth regarding how long it would take for the wars they started to end has ultimately tarnished their reputation with record low presidential and defence approval ratings from the public.

The world also continues to ignore Trump’s plea and childish threats since it refuses to involve itself in the war that the US started. NATO members have continuously refused Trump’s plea to force open the Strait of Hormuz by sending in their warships. UK Prime Minister Kier Starmer has refused to send any form of help to the US as he has stated repeatedly that he wishes to act in the interests of his nation and not involve his nation in a war that is not theirs.

Moreover, Spain has also closed its airspace to US to stop the US military from using it to carry attacks against Iran. This has widened the rift between the US and Spain since Spain and Italy refused to aid Trump in his plea to force open the Strait of Hormuz.

So far, not a single country has aided the US. Israel too is facing the consequences of the war it forcibly started as the entire North of Israel is under attack almost daily by Iranian ballistic missiles.

Furthermore, to add insult to injury Trump has tried defending himself in his address to the nation by using the World Wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War, the Iraq War and more as evidences that these wars dragged on for longer but they too eventually ended. However, this comparison doesn’t mean anything if the US was the country that started the unplanned and heavily messy conflict for which the entire world is paying. What matters is peace, not comparisons of failures that the US has had to endure due to its poor choices.

As of 2nd April, 2026, the total number of US allies that have distanced themselves from aiding Trump through the sending of warships to force open the Strait of Hormuz are as follows: UK, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Pakistan, Spain, Italy, Greece and more. In fact, not even Israel has properly coordinated with the US and increasing isolation and ignorance has made Trump desperate.

Pakistan however, has shown incredible mediating skills and has become the top sensible force for mediating relations between the US and Iran. It has earned recognition all over the world for its efforts to end the war in the Middle East. Recently, Pakistan and China has partnered together on the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-China bilateral relations to form a 5-point initiative to restore peace in the Middle East. These diplomatic skills shown by top Pakistani authorities are needed to be learnt by the US and in particular, Trump if he wishes for the war to end as soon as possible.

Since the US has failed to become a peacemaker, it is high time for countries like China to take over the mantle and become the leading force for maintaining peace globally. Moreover, if the war drags on and the oil price per barrel reaches $130 or more, China may overtake the US to become the centre of the world and the Yuan may take over and become the world’s reserve currency.
