April 14, 2026: China And Spain Forge Closer Ties Amid Worries That The International Order Is “Crumbling”

Spain’s Premier Pedro Sanchez Said On Tuesday After Meeting Chinese President Xi Jinping Said Europe and China must Forge Closer Ties To Counter ​Threats To Multilateralism

According to Reuters, China and Spain have agreed to forge closer ties to combat the growing threats to multilateralism as well as to face oncoming challenged due to the “crumbling” nature of the global world order following the Iran War in 2026.

Over the past two months, Europe has had increasingly strained relations with the US, in particular with US President Donald Trump as well as his administration. The tensions have fueled distrust over Trump’s foreign policies.

As a result, Europe and Western Countries have shifted to warmer relations with China. This proves that the global order of NATO is slowly collapsing and the relations may reach a new low once Trump shifts his priorities to a possible invasion to take over Greenland.
