Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and S12+ Arrive October 7 with Galaxy AI, Android 17, and Pre-Loaded Adobe Photoshop
Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Tab S12 series, its most powerful Android tablet lineup to date, set to launch on October 7, 2026. The series includes the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra with a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and the Galaxy Tab S12+ at 12.6 inches, both featuring 120Hz refresh rates, 1,600 nits peak brightness, and an ultra-slim profile of just 5.1mm and 5.3mm respectively. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, the tablets deliver up to 61% faster NPU performance compared to the previous generation, supporting Galaxy AI features across Android 17 and One UI 9. A six-month Google AI Pro trial and Gemini Notebook integration come included.
Battery life reaches 23 hours on the Ultra and 21 hours on the Plus, with 45W fast charging completing a full charge in approximately 95 minutes. Both models ship with an S Pen and are IP68 rated.
In a first for Android tablets, Adobe Photoshop comes pre-loaded, alongside Notability, offering bundled app value worth approximately $600.
