According To The Prime Minister’s Vision, AI Will Become Widely And Readily Available In Educational Curriculum in Pakistan By 2030. The Government Also Promises To Launch A Nationwide Programme To Train One Million Non-IT Professionals In Artificial Intelligence Skills To Boost Productivity And Improve Livelihoods.
According to Ary News, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif announced a promise of $1bn investment in AI by 2030 as well as offering 1,000 PHD scholarships in AI research. In addition to this, the current administration under Shehbaz Sharif aims to transform the education system across Pakistan by making Artificial Intelligence readily available in educational curriculum across schools and educational institutions across Pakistan.
Furthermore, Shehbaz Sharif has also promised to launch a nationwide programme to train one million non-IT professionals in Artificial Intelligence skills to boost productivity and improve livelihoods. According to Shehbaz Sharif, the aim to train the youth in readily available and relevant skills will help cover the revenue lost through outdated technology and technological practices.

Two separate initiatives and programs which overlap in terms of intentions, aims and goals show a clear sign of the direction taken by the current Pakistan Government as it is set on transforming and preparing Pakistani citizens for the Artificial Intelligence dominated era so that Pakistan as a nation may prosper economically in the future, particularly by 2030.
