FM Dar And Turkish FM Fidan Express Deep Concern Over Gaza Attacks And Al-Aqsa Mosque Violations As Pakistan And Turkiye Discuss Jordan’s Proposal For Arab-Islamic Diplomatic Coordination Meeting As Israeli Attacks Since October Ceasefire Kill 1,209 And War Toll Crosses 73,000

According to The Express Tribune, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone call on July 30, 2026 with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during which both expressed deep concern over continued Israeli military operations in Gaza and the Occupied West Bank, repeated violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem, and the worsening humanitarian situation.

The two foreign ministers reaffirmed their support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and discussed Jordan’s proposal to convene a meeting of Arab and Islamic countries to coordinate diplomatic efforts. The call followed similar talks FM Dar held the previous day with Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty, who also condemned Israeli military actions and endorsed the proposed Arab-Islamic coordination meeting.

Meanwhile, fresh Israeli attacks on July 30 killed three Palestinians and injured 20 others across Gaza in what Palestinian authorities describe as ceasefire violations. According to official Palestinian figures, Israeli attacks since October 10, 2025 after the ceasefire was announced; have killed 1,209 Palestinians and injured 3,943. The overall war toll since October 2023 has exceeded 73,000 killed and 174,000 wounded.

Three consecutive days of FM Dar phone calls signals Pakistan is positioning itself as a diplomatic voice in this effort. Check out our previous coverage of Palestine on The Trusted Times.
