Hot Wheels Infinite Rush Has Been Revealed At Summer Game Fest 2026. An Open-World Racing Adventure Across Four Themed Islands With Over 150 Vehicles, Dynamic Gameplay Events, And A Track Builder That Lets Players Share Custom Races With The Community, Coming To Xbox Series X|S On September 24

From Dense Skyscraper Road Networks To Vast Suburban Grasslands, From Sky-Jumping Between Islands To Head-To-Head Races That Trigger Without Warning Mid-Drive. Game Director Demonico Celenza Says The Goal Was To Capture “The Fast And Creative Spirit Of Hot Wheels”

According to Xbox Wire and game director Demonico Celenza, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush is an open-world racing adventure launching on Xbox Series X|S on September 24, 2026, revealed at Summer Game Fest.

The game spans four themed islands ranging from dense urban road networks and towering skyscrapers to vast grasslands with suburban streets; each designed as a dynamic playground where players can free-roam, smash breakable objects, and uncover hidden collectibles.

The game features over 150 Hot Wheels vehicles across four distinct classes, each with unique driving styles. Players build a Rush Squad by selecting vehicles from each class and can instantly swap between them mid-world to adapt to any situation. Traditional races coexist with unpredictable dynamic events; a free-roam drive can suddenly trigger a head-to-head race against a random opponent, or a shortcut under a skyscraper can become a frantic dash through collapsing debris.

The Track Builder has been significantly enhanced: modules now automatically follow the terrain surface, and players can teach AI opponents to race custom tracks by placing action markers, then share those creations with the community. Sticker and Livery editors, plus wheel customisation, round out the creative suite.
