Sindh Minister Announces Government Contemplating Implementing ‘Smart Lockdown’ To Conserve Fuel In Case Crisis Deepens And Iran War Shows No Further Signs Of De-escalation

According to Dawn News, Sindh Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah stated on Tuesday that the Government is contemplating implementation of ‘smart lockdown’ to conserve fuel.

He further stated that he conducted daily in-person and online meetings regarding ‘Austerity Measures‘ – a special move by PM Shehbaz Sharif since early March to mitigate impending crisis from the Iran War.

Nasir Hussain Shah further stated that the provincial government reduced fuel consumption allowance for official vehicles by 60%. Lastly, he called on media agencies to raise awareness regarding the current crisis.
