According to Geo News, Finance Ministry announced in its meeting on Tuesday this week that petrol cargoes for March and April have been largely secured by Pakistan. This announcement which came as a result of a meeting chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb comes as a relief and recovery for ordinary citizens of Pakistan.
In addition to that, additional shipments have been planned to bolster supply buffers. Finance Minister Aurangzeb also underscored the importance of “proactive planning, diversified procurement strategies, and close coordination” among stakeholders enabled Pakistan to maintain a stable domestic supply position despite global volatility.
