Associated Press of Pakistan reports that on June 27, 2026, a terrorist squad belonging to Jamaat-ul-Ahrar designated an Indian proxy by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations, detonated a blast at the main gate of a Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) camp in Karachi before attempting to breach its perimeter, triggering an intense firefight with Rangers personnel on duty.
Three Rangers Embraced Martyrdom and Four Were Injured While Eliminating Three Attackers and Capturing One Afghan National Terrorist Alive
Rangers troops responded immediately, killing three terrorists and capturing one attacker alive identified as an Afghan national in injured condition. Three Rangers personnel embraced martyrdom in the line of duty and four sustained injuries. Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces expressed condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers, affirming that the sacrifices reinforce Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to national security.
ISPR Says Sanitization Operations Are Ongoing Under Azm-e-Istehkam and Pakistan Will Undertake Retribution Against Perpetrators
The ISPR statement confirmed that sanitization operations are underway in the surrounding area to eliminate any remaining threats, and pledged that Pakistan will undertake retribution operations against the perpetrators.
