Pro Iranian Protesters Storm US Consulate in Karachi After Death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as 9 Reportedly Killed

Pro Iranian Protesters Storm US Consulate in Karachi as Deadly Clashes Leave 9 Dead and Dozens Injured

According to AlJazeera, Pro-Iranian protestors stormed the US Consulate in Karachi following the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as security forces open fired on the protestors to disperse the storming crowd. This resulted in the death of 9 civilians and the injuries of 32 civilians.

In addition to this, several other protests broke out as well as the UN office in Gilgit Baltistan was set ablaze. Lahore also saw hundreds of protestors gathered in front of the US Consulate but no violence was reported.

Outside of Pakistan, protests erupted in Indian occupied Kashmir, Iraq and Morocco. Particularly in Iraq, protestors gathered in front of the US Embassy to protest the killing of Former Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
