Sindh Government Announces a Surprise Holiday on March 13: The Reason Being The Last Friday of Ramadan
Today, Sindh Government announces a surprise holiday on March 13. The official reason as confirmed by Sindh Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah is due to the importance of the Last Friday of Ramadan.
All government offices, autonomous bodies, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and/or local councils under administrative control of the Sindh Government are instructed to remain closed. Essential services however are exempted from this holiday and are instructed to remain open.
