Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Edge Leaks With 16 Inch AMOLED Display, Snapdragon X2 Elite And A Price Tag That Means Business
Samsung’s missing piece has finally shown up and it looks like a serious machine.
The Galaxy Book 6 Edge has been listed by German retailer Cyberport ahead of any official announcement, revealing its full design and key specifications for the first time. (SamMobile)
Unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy Book 6 Edge comes in only one screen size: 16 inches. The display is an AMOLED panel running at 2880 by 1800 resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. It features a matte finish to reduce glare and notably lacks touch functionality.
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite processor featuring 18 CPU cores with clock speeds reaching up to 4.7GHz — the brand’s latest flagship laptop chip. Samsung will offer it in two configurations: 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and 32GB RAM with 1TB storage.
Battery life is rated at up to 22 hours from a 61.8kWh cell, with connectivity covering Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB Type C 4.0 ports, HDMI 2.1 and a microSD card slot. The whole thing weighs just 1.55kg at 12.3mm thin.
Pricing starts at 2,199 euros for the base model and reaches 2,800 euros for the top configuration. No official launch date has been confirmed yet.
