Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Carries Snapdragon 8 Series Chipset And Large Battery While Pad 8s Pro Features In-House Xring O3 12.5-inch 12,000mAh Flagship With 50MP Camera — China Launch Imminent
According to Notebookcheck, two new Xiaomi flagship tablets; the Pad 9 Pro (model 2612CRPFFC) and the Pad 8s Pro (model M367FC) have cleared China’s 3C certification, strongly indicating that both devices are approaching commercial release.
The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro carries 3C certification confirming 67W fast charging support. Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo reports it will feature a Snapdragon 8 series chipset and a large battery mirroring the Pad 8 Pro which launched in September 2025 with an 11.2-inch IPS LCD panel, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 9,200mAh battery with 67W charging. The Pad 9 Pro is expected to reach global markets.
The Pad 8s Pro is the more ambitious device. Leaks suggest it will carry Xiaomi’s in-house Xring O3 chipset; the company’s latest proprietary silicon, alongside a 12.5-inch display, a 12,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, a 50MP primary camera and a 32MP selfie camera. It is expected to remain a China-exclusive, as its predecessor the Pad 7s Pro never received an international release.
Two tablets. Two chipset philosophies. One is Qualcomm-powered for global reach; the other is Xiaomi’s own silicon, built for home.
