Zong Becomes The First Telecom Operator To Commercially Launch 5G Services In Major Cities of Pakistan
According to Arab News PK, Zong has become the first Telecom Operator to commercially launch 5G services in major cities of Pakistan. A total of 16 cities were announced for their 5G services rollout out of which Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta remain to be the most prominent cities.
According to Zong, the fifth generation launch focus on three things. Expanding products and services, advanced gaming and video streaming experience as well as improving issue resolution times. All in all, this upgrade ensures low-latency and high speed.
Zong has also ensured that it aims to ‘support smart industries, health care and precision agriculture’. In addition to this, Zong has also promised that it will deploy and upgrade around 1000+ fifth generation sites nationwide in 2026.
