Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan publicly commended Pakistan’s role in facilitating dialogue between Iran and the United States. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar accepted an invitation to the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

The defence dimension has deepened sharply. PAF Chief Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu visited Turkey in late May, holding talks with Turkish Air Force Commander General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, Defence Minister Yaşar Güler, and Baykar Technologies CTO Selçuk Bayraktar; the company behind the Bayraktar TB2 drone family. Earlier this year, Field Marshal Asim Munir met Turkish Chief of General Staff General Selcuk Bayraktaroglu.

The broader story matters more. Bloomberg has reported that Türkiye and Qatar may join the existing Pakistan-Saudi Arabia defence pact. A wider Gulf-South Asia security framework is taking shape, with Islamabad emerging as both diplomatic broker and strategic anchor.
