Pakistan Monsoon Toll Crosses 107: NDMA Reports Seven Deaths In Punjab And Three In KP In 24 Hours While Ravi River Hits High Flood At Sidhnai And AI Dashboard Monitors Indian Dams Without Data Sharing
According to Dawn, Pakistan’s monsoon death toll since June 26 has crossed 107, with the National Disaster Management Authority reporting seven new fatalities in Punjab and three in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a single 24-hour period on July 27, 2026. At least 47 people were injured in Punjab and three in Hangu, while over 25 were hurt in Balochistan’s central districts overnight.
KP leads the nationwide fatality count with 55 deaths, followed by Punjab with 36, AJK with seven, Balochistan with six, Sindh with two and Gilgit-Baltistan with one. House collapses, electrocution and drowning are the primary causes.
The Ravi River entered a high flood level at Sidhnai Headworks in Khanewal, with nearly 400 square kilometres of land still submerged across Nankana, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Narowal. A fresh wet spell is forecast from July 29 across upper catchments.
