After a series of new clashes among it’s borders with Cambodia, Prime minster Anutin officially announced the dissolution of the Parliament on Friday by a Royal Decree, saying his minority government has struggled to handle the crisis since taking office three months ago.
He said Returning power to the people through elections was the most responsible path forward. The move means Thais will head back to the polls within the next 45 to 60 days, fulfilling Anutin’s earlier pledge to call an election by the end of January.
