The Biggest Google Pixel Leak Ever Confirms $100 Price Hikes Across The Board, A RAM Downgrade On Base Pro Models And A Smaller Fold Battery
According to Android Central, Google accidentally published the entire Pixel 11 series on Amazon on July 14 revealing US pricing, specs, storage options, colours, and RAM configurations nearly a month before the confirmed August 12 launch event in New York.
The leak, first reported by Android Authority, confirms four models: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Every single one costs $100 more than its predecessor. The base Pixel 11 starts at $899 with 256GB; Google is eliminating the 128GB option entirely. The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099, the Pro XL at $1,299, and the Pro Fold at $1,899.
The most controversial detail is a RAM downgrade on the base Pro and Pro XL variants. The 256GB models drop from 16GB to 12GB of RAM; a cost-cutting move Google blamed on the ongoing memory crisis. Higher 512GB and 1TB configurations retain 16GB. The Pro Fold’s battery also shrinks from 5,000mAh to 4,750mAh.
Available colours for the base Pixel 11 include Frost, Pistachio, Hibiscus, and Obsidian. Google has since removed the listings from Amazon, but the damage is done.
This is the most complete Pixel pre-launch exposure in the product line’s history. The price increases are real, the RAM downgrade is real, and the question now isn’t whether these phones will be good; it’s whether they’re worth paying more for less memory.
