Qatar’s MoCI Launches Sharek Business Survey: The Civil Service And Government Development Bureau’s Initiative Collects Business Challenges Year-Round To Drive Practical Regulatory And Service Reforms
According to The Peninsula Qatar, Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in coordination with the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau, has invited private sector companies across all industries to submit their business challenges through a dedicated form on the “Sharek” platform as part of an ongoing effort to strengthen the country’s business ecosystem and deepen public-private collaboration.
The initiative aims to identify and monitor obstacles faced by private sector companies throughout the year, with feedback channelled directly to the relevant government entities to develop practical solutions. Officials emphasised that participation is not a formality; the submissions will actively inform government decision-making, drive regulatory improvements, and help tailor public services to the evolving needs of businesses operating in Qatar.
The Sharek platform reflects Qatar’s broader Vision 2030 agenda of building a competitive, diversified economy powered by a thriving private sector. Companies can access the Business Environment Challenges Submission Form by scanning the official QR code or visiting the platform online.
