Trump’s Medical Report: A Perfect Cognitive Score, A Heart 14 Years Younger Than Its Owner, And Leg Swelling That Previously Did Not Exist According To The Previous Year’s Report. President Trump’s 2026 Physical Raises More Questions Than It Answers
According to The Daily Beast, the White House released 79-year-old President Donald Trump’s medical report late Friday night after days of criticism over the administration’s refusal to publish the results.
Physician Capt. Sean Barbabella issued a three-page memo declaring Trump in “excellent health” and “fully fit” to serve, citing a perfect 30 out of 30 on a cognitive assessment and an AI-enhanced ECG estimating his cardiac age at approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age.
A comparison with last year’s report reveals a different picture. The 2025 report disclosed diverticulosis, a benign colon polyp, cataract surgery, an appendectomy, and 2024 colonoscopy findings. The 2026 version omits all of them. What it does add is more troubling. Barbabella acknowledged “slight lower leg swelling” despite last year’s report stating Trump had “normal blood flow and no swelling.”
Trump’s resting heart rate rose from 62 to 73 bpm. Triglycerides doubled from 56 to 104. He gained 14 pounds, now weighing 238 pounds, yet received counselling on “continued weight loss.”
The midnight release timing, the selective omissions in the medical report, and the superlative framing echo a pattern that dates to the 2016 campaign, when Trump’s then-physician Harold Bornstein later admitted Trump had dictated his own glowing health letter.
