Qatar Weekly Real Estate Trading: Ministry of Justice Data Reveals QR317.9mn in Sales Contracts and QR65.1mn in Residential Units Across Nine Municipalities in One Week
According to Gulf Times, Qatar’s real estate market logged total weekly trading volume of over QR383 million during the period from June 21 to June 25, 2026, according to data released by the Department of Real Estate Registration at the Ministry of Justice.
Sales contracts across the week reached QR317,885,006, while residential unit contracts contributed an additional QR65,143,503, bringing the combined figure to QR383 million.
Properties traded during the period included vacant land, residences, a commercial administrative building, residential buildings, commercial shops, and residential units. Sales activity was spread across nine municipalities: Al Rayyan, Doha, Umm Salal, Al Daayen, Al Wakrah, Al Shamal, Al Khor and Al Thakhira, with premium areas including Lusail Zone 69, The Pearl, Al Kharaej, Ghar Thuaib, Al Gharrafa, and Al Wukair all recording transactions.
The week’s QR383mn figure represents a notable dip from the preceding week ending June 18, which recorded QR545.3mn in registered sales contracts.
Qatar’s real estate market continues to show steady institutional depth; the correction in weekly volume reflects seasonal patterns, not demand fatigue.
