Leaked Prices Confirm Across-the-Board Increases With Fold8 Ultra Starting at €2,199, Flip8 at €1,299 and Watch Ultra 2 at €749 Before Samsung’s London Launch
According to GSMArena, leaked European prices for Samsung’s entire upcoming foldable and wearable lineup have surfaced ahead of the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22 and every single device is getting more expensive.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra; the new flagship foldable succeeding the Fold7, will start at €2,199 for 256GB, a €100 increase. Storage upgrades push it to €2,399 for 512GB and €2,799 for 1TB. The standard Galaxy Z Fold8 starts at €1,999 for 256GB, reaching €2,599 for 1TB.
The Galaxy Z Flip8 comes in at €1,299 for 256GB and €1,499 for 512GB; increases of €100 and €180 respectively over last year’s Flip7. Smartwatches are no exception: the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 with LTE will cost €749, the Galaxy Watch9 starts at €409 for the 40mm model and €459 for 44mm, with LTE adding €30 across the board.
Samsung is betting that foldable and AI-enhanced hardware justifies these premium increases. Consumers used to annual price inflation in flagships may disagree; especially as Chinese rivals continue to undercut at every tier.
